Meet the Manila Major Broadcast Team

The Manila Major – the third of the Dota 2 Major series – has finally ended the watch and Valve/PGL has announced the talent that will be covering the Group Stages and the Main Event.  There is not a lot of information about this last Major but you can check the essentials  – Tickets, Teams, Talenthere.

After the Shanghai fiasco the organizing reigns have been given to PGL  and the expectations are high. For those who don’t know, they made some of the best Counter Strike events, culminating with the Cluj-Napoca Major last autumn.

Moving onto the talent we are happy to see Paul ‘ReDeYe‘ Chaloner returning as the host for the event and looking forward to some quality banter. Unfortunately we will be missing some well know faces like Jorien ‘Sheever‘ van der Heijden, Dakota ‘KotLGuy‘ Cox, William ‘Blitz‘ Lee, Troels ‘syndereN‘ Nielsen and Vitalii ‘v1lat‘ Volochai but new blood is being tested.

Jacob ‘SirActionSlacks‘ Kanner has been given an interviewer position making his debut at a Valve premier event. Known for his memes SirActionSlacks has proven that hard work and dedication pay off in the end.

Casters and Hosts:

The analyst desk brings out  Dominik ‘Black^’ Reitmeier, Ioannis ‘Fogged‘ Loucas, Charlie ‘Charlie‘ Yang, Alan ‘Nahaz‘ Bester, Kevin ‘Purge‘ Godec and Chan ‘Winter‘ Litt-Binn.

Probably the biggest surprise is Charlie ‘Charlie‘ Yang but please keep in mind the the former Evil Geniuses manager is a 5.5k MMR player and besides game knowledge he might be the person with the best understanding of the Dota 2 eSport scene.

As Observers we have  Johan ‘Weppas‘ Westberg, Rikard Holm ‘Skrff‘ Melin, Travis ‘Maut‘ Bueno
